The site witnessed the first landing of the British in Australia in 1788 and became one of the main parts of Sydney, from which the city grew bigger.
Start your day in one of the famous restaurants - Aria, Quay, Bennelong, Cafe Sydney or The Dining Room, then visit the numerous attractions around the Quay - the Opera House, The Botanical Garden, The Rocks, which are adjacent to the area, the Customs House and much more. Take a stroll through the streets, which are great for people-watching and amazing photographs, and then finally board a ferry and go for a cruise around the harbour.
