Pyramid of Khafre

Seemingly higher than Khufu, this pyramid is easily recognisable by its limestone cap. Construction of this monumental sight was commissioned approximately in 2500 BC, by an Egyptian king Khafra, hence the name. The burial chambers, which feature the pharaoh's tomb, are open to public.

Taking photographs is prohibited inside the pyramids.
