Constructed in 1407 and restored in 1533, the pagoda is dedicated to the Buddha of Medicine and to Buddhist saints Fugen and Monju. It was built in the style of Buddhist architecture, its roof is made of Japanese cypress bark shingles and the walls are decorated with intricate carvings. Although the interior is not open to the public, the pagoda is definitely worth seeing.
