The Japanese Sword Museum or Tōken hakubutsukan situated in Tokyo, is a small museum dedicated to the art of Japanese swordmaking. The museum is run by the Society for the Preservation of Japanese Art Swords. It used to locate in Shibuya from 1978 to 2017. The new museum opened in Sumida, Tokyo in 2018.
The museum has a collection of more than 150 items, including swords, tosogu, yoroi as well as documents of metal working.
