Ta Prohm

Local nameប្រាសាទតាព្រហ្ម
LocationSiem Reap province, Cambodia

Ta Prohm is a place of peace and quiet contemplation, which contrasts with the reason why it’s so popular. The temple was used as one of the filming locations for Tomb Raider.

The temple has a special charm because of the vegetation overgrowing it. The walls seem to be devoured by the jungle growing all around it.

It hasn’t changed since it was abandoned in the 15th century, and you will feel like you’ve stepped back in time when walking on the temple grounds. Inspiring countless writers, poets and artists, the temple now belongs to the most visited sites in Siem Reap.
