Linking the Lesser Town with Narodni Trida, Bridge of Legions was designed by Antonín Balšánek and built in 1901. The main material used was granite. The bridge's name has been changed quite often, at one point being named after Bedřich Smetana, a famous Czech composer.

From the bridge, you can also access the Střelecký Island.
