Clérigos Church

Local nameIgreja dos Clérigos
LocationVila Nova de Gaia, Portugal

This Baroque church was built in the 17th century and its facade is decorated with elements typical for the Baroque era. It also features a tall bell tower. With its 75,6 meters, it became a symbol of the city which you can see from pretty much every corner of it.

From the top of the tower, you can see the whole city at your feet. Moreover, if you decide to come in the evening you will see the lit up Porto spreading all around you. Such view is definitely worth the trip and worth climbing more than 200 steps.
