Death Valley National Park

Local nameDeath Valley National Park
LocationUnited States

The lowest, driest and hottest place in America. This park is a true wonder - even though the temperature here can go all the way up to 57°C (134°F), plants and wildlife have found a way to survive, sometimes even thrive in this environment.

Most of the animals that live here are nocturnal, some of them estivate during summer. They have evolved into being able to go without water for days, some of them even their whole lives. It is not recommended to give water to animals you see on the road, it might disrupt their routine.

The vegetation here mostly consists of cacti, succulents and wildflowers that are all used to extremely dry conditions.

Before visiting, please check the official website for any possible alerts, bring a lot of water and be prepared for any emergencies.
