Also known as Maizuru Castle, this historic sight is situated on top of Fukusaki Hill, overlooking the city. The surrounding park, Maizuru Park, is home to various sports facilities, a baseball stadium and an art museum. Though not much has been preserved of the castle, you can still see ruins of its towers, gates, and turrets while strolling through the park.
