The museum is dedicated to people killed by the nuclear attack in 1945. The East Wing is devoted to the history of Hiroshima City before the nuclear attack and the damage of the bomb. The West Wing focuses on the victims. It displays photos, clothes, watches, hair and other items.

The main building (The West Wing) is currently closed for renovations. It is scheduled to reopen in 2019.

Aug: 8:30 am - 7 pm
Dec - Feb: 8:30 am - 5 pm

Last admission 30 min before closing.
