LEGO® House is a 12,000 square meter experience center, which opened in Billund in September 2017. The house is divided into six Experience Zones including 25 million LEGO Bricks. Here, both children and adults can, among other things, program robots in Robo Lab, produce their own stop motion video in Story Lab or build a LEGO fish that subsequently come to life in a digital aquarium. In addition, there are three dining areas, a LEGO store, conference facilities and nine public playgrounds on the roof terraces. The house is open throughout the year.
LEGO House is also called Home of the Brick, with reference to the city where the LEGO bricks was invented. The house was designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, and was inaugurated on September 28, 2017. LEGO House had KIRKBI as the developer, and is owned and operated by LEGO Foundation subsidiary "Koldingvej 2, Billund A / S", which has Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen as chairman of the board.
