Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

The Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is a Russian military university operated by the Ministry of Defense of Russia. It is located on 14 Bol'shaya Sadovaya Street in Moscow. It is one of the oldest military schools in Russia. The university is considered to be the leading educational, methodological and scientific center of the Russian Armed Forces. Since October 2017, the Commanding officer of the university has been Lieutenant General Igor Mishutkin.
