One of the iconic landmarks of Barcelona was designed by a Spanish architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava in a very unusual style. It represents an athlete holding the Olympic Flame and thanks to its orientation, it also serves as a sundial. This telecommunication tower was established to cover the 1992 Summer Olympic Games.
