The second busiest airport in Germany also serves as the main international airport of Munich. It's about 50 km away from Munich by road.
It has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, which has a Satellite Building T2. In-between the terminals there's a Munich Airport Center (MAC) where various medical services are located. The airport offers great comfort for passengers with rest zones, sleeping pods, several children play areas and more.
There's an observation deck with binoculars and connected to the airport is a Visitors Park with numerous interesting activities including a playground and historical aircraft. Airport tours are also available for those who are interested.
