Nello Cassata Ethnohistory Museum

The Nello Cassata Ethnohistory Museum is a museum located in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Sicily, Italy.

It stands on an area of 1,500 square meters which includes a two-floor manor house dating back to the late 19th century.The building has an old barrel-vaulted palmento on the ground floor, a front door with relief decorations depicting scenes of rural life, an atrium paved in local stone, nineteenth-century lights set in the midst of a typical Sicilian garden.

The museum is run by the "Oikos" European Institute of Ethnology, a non-profit organization with about thirty employees.
