On this bridge, one of the narrowest road bridges in Paris, you can seal your love by locking a padlock to it and throwing the keys into the Seine. However, space is scarce for new padlocks are being added every day.
From time to time, the city removes the padlocks but the new ones quickly reappear, keeping the tradition alive.
You can find similar bridges all over the world. However, the tradition is not a long one, the padlocks started to appear in the 2000s but it spreads quickly (much to the resentment of the city councils).
