Samal, officially the Municipality of Samal, is a 4th class municipality in the province of Bataan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 38,302 people. Samal is 11 kilometres from Balanga and 113 kilometres from Manila. It has a total land area of 56.30 square kilometres.
