Also known as Igreja dos Grilos, this church is built in Baroque-Jesuit Mannerist style. The lack of lavish decoration corresponds with the austerity that Jesuits appreciate.
The interior is not as plain as the façade thanks to golden decorations and wooden sculptures of the saints at the altar.
From time to time, classical music concerts take place here.
