Sri Mahamariamman Temple

This small Hindu temple was built in 1879 and its main shrine is dedicated to Sri Maha Mariamman, the South Indian mother goddess. The facade is decorated with carved colorful images of many other gods and goddesses.

It is a location of religious festivals including Navrati, a Hindu festival celebrated in the autumn. Daily rituals take place here at noon.
