Situated in front of the Thomas Jefferson Building of Library of Congress, this statue was erected in 1898. It depicts the god of the sea, his sons, and sea nymphs. Interestingly, the statue's author - Roland Hinton Perry - was only 27 years old when finishing this imposing work of art.
