Commissioned by sultan Süleyman the Magnificent, this mosque's tall minarets can be seen from the distance. The interior of the mosque with tiled decoration is simple yet beautiful.
The complex was built in memory of sultan’s eldest son Sehzade Mehmed and it also contains five mausoleums – one of the largest is that of Sehzade Mehmed.
