Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University

Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University formerly known as the Immanuel Kant Russian State University, or in brief the Kant University and as University of Königsberg , After the World War II as a result Russia annexed Königsberg and renamed Kaliningrad then arrived Kaliningrad State University, then from 2005 onwards the university has renamed as Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University on the honour of Immanuel Kant , a German Philosopher.

The university claims to maintain the traditions of its German predecessor, the University of Königsberg.
