Floating Garden Observatory

Local name空中庭園展望台
Location北區, Osaka, Japan

More than 170 meters tall and 40 storeys high, this architectural wonder is one of the most imposing sights in Osaka. It is well-known for the excellent view from its rooftop observatory, called The Floating Garden Observatory, which offers a great overlook of the entire city. When the visibility is good, you can even see as far as the Awaji Island.

The more than 20-year-old building, owned by the Toshiba company, was designed by architect Hiroshi Hara. Apart from visiting the observatory, you can also enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal on the building's 39th floor.

If you want to come by car, there are parking places available in the parking lot near the tower. The parking ticket discount service is available at the restaurant on the 39th floor and some of the restaurants in the restaurant street TAKIMIKOJI on the first basement floor.
