Caesars Palace

Local nameCaesars Palace
LocationParadise, Nevada, United States

This luxurious, Roman-style themed resort is one of Las Vegas' landmark sights. Most famous for its casino, the complex also includes a hotel, a spa, restaurants (including Gordon Ramsay's Pub & Grill), clubs, a shopping mall and a huge performance venue called The Colosseum, built in 2003.

The first building of the complex was opened as early as 1966. Since then, several additions have been made, last of which is the Octavius Tower, opened in 2012. The entirety of the Palace is divided into Roman-sounding sections. The hotel buildings are called towers, the shopping area is called forum.

The complex has also appeared in numerous TV shows, like the Simpsons or Friends, as well as many movies, including the Oscar-winning Rain Man. It also hosts events and shows by artists like Céline Dion or Elton John.
