The second largest airport in Tuscany and the only airport in Florence, located only 4 km from the city centre. It has only 1 terminal.
Volainbus runs a direct bus to the airport from central Florence. From 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. it runs every 30 minutes and from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. every hour. The ride takes about 20–30 minutes.
The bus from airport to Florence centre runs every 30 minutes from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and every hour from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
The airport is easily accessible by car by driving on Viale Alessandro Guidoni and proceeding to the motorway entrance Firenze Nord/Firenze Mare (A1 and A11).
