Praça dos Restauradores celebrates the restoration of the independence of Portugal in 1640. It features a 30-meter high obelisk and the Monument to the Restorers. The classical architecture of the plaza is adorned with splendid Art Deco buildings. Popular attractions lining the square include Foz Palace, Eden Cinema, and Hard Rock Cafe.
Either in the square or in the streets nearby you can find many fashion shops of famous brands and also restaurants and cafés where you can get some refreshments.
There is also a subway station and several public transport stations so you should have no trouble getting here.
