Shake Shack

Local nameShake Shack
LocationManhattan, New York City, United States

Starting off as a hot dog stand, Shake Shack worked its way up all the way to being widely known and recognised all over New York. This fast food chain restaurant was never meant to be more than a hot dog cart, that was established to support a certain art exhibition named "I <3 Taxi" in the middle of Madison Square Park.

After immense success with their customers, this hot dog cart became a kiosk-style restaurant serving hamburgers, shakes and hot dogs. Today, Shake Shack is so popular that they had to set up a webcam, so people at home can see when the line to get food is not that long because on a suitable day the waiting in queues can take more than an hour.

Shake Shack serves 100% natural Angus beef with no antibiotics. They also have options for vegetarians, like the 'Shroom burger or frozen custard.
