Chorsu, also called charsu, in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, is a domed, hexagonal building southeast of the Registan at the intersection of the roads connecting Samarkand, Tashkent, Bukhara, and Shahrisabz. Chorsu is a word of Persian origin meaning "crossroads," referring to this intersection.
