Completed in the 17th century, this large mosque features 66 domes, a nice courtyard and two minarets. The interior is decorated with beautiful İznik tiles.
The complex also includes a market which is nowadays known as the Spice Bazaar. The mosque is a favourite place for both tourists and pigeons – the latter ones exploring only the exterior of the sight, fortunately.
The mosque is not accessible to tourists during prayer times.
As of 2020, it's under renovation, but still accessible.
