People's Garden

On the way from Hofburg, be sure to take a look at this beautiful public park which dates back to the 1820s. This oasis of peace with a plethora of seatings makes for a great hideaway from the city's rush and buzz. Stroll along the colourful flowerbeds, marvel at the manicured patterns and designs, and get yourself lost in the rose gardens.

The park is also home to a Neoclassical temple and various monuments, for instance of Franz Grillparzer, Julius Raab or Empress Elisabeth. Once done walking around, you can enjoy a cup of coffee in Café Meierei situated here.
