Stoa is a covered walkway typical for ancient Greek architecture. This impressive stoa was constructed by King Attalos II of Pergamon. It boasts a two-storyed colonnade and at the time it served as the major commercial center of the Agora.
It underwent a reconstruction in 1950s and nowadays it is used as a museum displaying objects related to the Athenian democracy.
