Gardens of Joan Brossa

Local nameJardins de Joan Brossa
Locationel Poble-sec, Barcelona, Spain

The park was created in 2003 on the site of a former amusement park. Now it is a nice green space ideal for relaxing, walking or for a picnic. The park also features a play area for the children so it's a great choice for a family walk. It is not as popular as some other parks and gardens and it is, therefore, less crowded and more enjoyable.

Mainly Mediterranean plants grow in the garden, such as cypresses, pines, and palms. Apart from that, the park celebrates art and poetry with sculptures that are named after the poet Joan Brossa.
