A gift to the Roman people by Italians who came to Rome from Argentina, this lighthouse offers one of the best views of the city's panorama you could find.
It was designed by a famous architect, Manfredo Manfredi, and its construction was finished in 1911.
When heading for the lighthouse, which is located at the very top of the Janiculum hill, be ready for a bit of climbing, as the hill is quite steep. The sight that will open before you when you reach it is definitely worth it though.
The park where the lighthouse is located is always accessible.
