The Lin Ben Yuan Family Mansion and Garden in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan was a residence built by the Lin Ben Yuan family. It is Taiwan's most complete surviving example of traditional Chinese garden architecture. The Lin Family Mansion and Garden — along with the Tainan Wu Garden, Hsinchu Beiguo Garden, and Wufeng Lin Family Mansion and Garden — are collectively known as the Four Great Gardens of Taiwan.

Opening hours

​Most of the gardens and buildings are closed for restoration until July 3​ 2016.

Open: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Closed on the 1st Monday of each month, Chinese New Year's Eve (2/18) and Chinese New Year's Day (2/19).

Guided tours are available in Chinese, English and Japanese. The tours in English and Japanese need to be booked a week in advance.

Regular guided tours: 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m (max 30 pariticipants per tour)
