These peaks are located in the middle of San Francisco and they are among the highest points (being about 280 meters high) of the city. They are nicknamed “Eureka” and “Noe” by the locals and are a very popular hiking place.
When the weather is nice, the view from up there is simply spectacular. You can see the whole city laid out in front of you. Also, watching the sunrise or the sunset from the Twin Peaks is a great way to start or finish the day.
Be prepared for a bit of steep climbing and most likely some wind (it is windy up there almost all the time). However, it is a pleasant walk in a bit of nature in the middle of the bustling city.
