Stramberk Castle

Local nameŠtramberk
LocationŠtramberk, Czechia

This small Gothic castle with a 40 m tall Gothic tower makes for an epic panorama. The town below is also worth a visit.

The castle (now partly in ruins) dates back to around 1200, but its origin is a mystery to date.

The town Štramberk is famous for historical timbered houses from 18th and 19th century and also for typical baked sweets „Štramberské uši“, which are popular countrywide.
