Temple of Poseidon

Local nameTemple of Poseidon
LocationGreece

Come and see the ruins of the Doric temple dedicated to the god of the sea. Built in the 5th century BC, it was the first thing sailors saw when they returned to Greece. Although not much of the temple still stands, it is one of the most picturesque sites in Attica, especially when you visit at sunset!
