Boone Hall Plantation is one of America's oldest working plantations, continually growing crops for over 320 years. The antebellum era plantation is located in Mount Pleasant, Charleston County, South Carolina, U.S.A., and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The plantation includes a large Colonial Revival plantation house that replaced the lost original house on the site, a number of slave cabins or cottages, several flower gardens, and the historic "Avenue of Oaks" an allee of over a kilometer along the entry drive up to the house planted with 44 southern live oaks on either side.
