Storting building is the seat of the parliament of Norway. This majestic building dating to the 19th century is notable especially for its peculiar shape and dominant position on the square. It was architecturally designed by Emil Victor Langlet and built in the Eclectic style.
You can visit the inside of this yellow-bricked building during free guided tours. It will not only take you through some of the rooms but also inform you about Norway's democracy. Even if not going inside, the exterior is worth exploring and the surrounding greenery is a great hideaway from Oslo's buzz and rush.
