Belgium Beer Brewery Tours

Beer is most likely the one thing Belgium is world-famous for. Well, apart from the little statue of a peeing boy in Brussels.

There's no place like Belgium for a true beer lover. Dozens of great breweries in a little country roughly the area of Maryland. Just 3 hours are enough to drive all the way across it, thanks to the highly developed road network. A perfect combination for a beer-tasting trip.

They say 1132 varieties of beer exist in Belgium. There's no reason not to believe that number, considering the wide range of Belgian beer styles. It starts with Trappist beers, brewed exclusively by monks in six monasteries. Several abbeys produce well-known brands as well, such as Leffe or Affligem. Some of the Belgian beers are distributed all around the world – Stella Artois and Hoegaarden to mention a few.

In this list you'll find 23 Belgian breweries offering tours to their visitors. From the tiny Westvleteren Abbey Trappist brewery, whose beer has been awarded world's best several times, to a giant Stella Artois brewery in Leuven.
