Bratislava in a Day

Explore the capital of Slovakia and see the best of it in one day!

Your tour starts at the Church of St. Elizabeth, also known as Blue Church because of the color of its facade. Then, head to the Old Town. As you wander around the historical center of Bratislava, look for its quirky statues such as "The Peeper", which is probably the most popular of them. Next stop is the City Gallery of Bratislava, the second largest Slovak gallery housed in two historical buildings.

After leaving the gallery, go see Michael's Gate, the only city gate left in the city which used to be a part of the medieval fortifications. Before climbing the hill to the Bratislava Castle, peek into the Clarissine Church and Saint Martin's Cathedral. As you reach the top of the hill, take a while to admire the views of Bratislava. You can also visit the museum that is housed here and a small garden.

Go down the hill to the river and cross the bridge. Your last stop is the UFO Observation Deck - a saucer-shaped observation platform with breathtaking views of the city and a fancy restaurant.
