Palma de Mallorca Airport, also known as Son Sant Joan Airport, is located only 8 km from the city of Palma. It is one of the biggest airports in Spain with more than 27 million passengers per year and it is also one of the busiest airports in Europe during the high season.
The airport has a big, modern terminal with four modules (A-D). There is a large number of restaurants, cafés and shops where you can buy something to eat. Note though that majority of them are located landside.
