The Marais

Visit a location where the Parisian aristocracy used to live. The area is famous for its narrow medieval lanes lined with an extensive selection of shops, bars, restaurants, hotels and boutiques. You can find both low and high-cost variants of all the above mentioned and more.

After the revolution, much has changed in Paris but Le Marais still maintained its pre-revolutionary feel. Even today it is a very cozy, artistic neighborhood which stands in contrast with wide Parisian boulevards.

The district was once home to the Jewish community of Paris and you can find the Jewish synagogue or the Museum of Jewish Art and History here.
