Peneda-Gerês National Park

This park set in a deep valley between two high sierras is Portugal's only national park. There are several camping sites and hiking trails which lead to the most interesting places in the park. If you are lucky, you can spot some of the rare animals such as grey wolf, golden eagle or Pyrenean desman.
