Stratosphere Tower

The second tallest free standing observation tower in the western hemisphere. Enjoy a 360-degree view of the interesting megacity 1,149 feet in the air while you're on a break from gambling in the casinos or partying in the bars.

There is also a restaurant called the Top of the World, which lets you have your meal while adoring the spectacular skyline, but the main craze are the thrill rides. The Stratosphere Tower offers one of the highest thrill rides in the world. You can let yourself be shot up all the way to the top at high speed in the Big Shot ride, spun around dangling in the air in the Insanity, tipped over the edge of the tower repeatedly in the X-Scream, or take a quick way down - jumping from the tower in a controlled descend ride (similar to bungee jumping) called SkyJump. It's obvious that these thrill rides are not for the faint of heart.

In case you feel confident enough to have a meal after the thrill rides, prepare your wallet, as it can get pretty pricey. The hotel is right in front of the Stratosphere bus stop (on Las Vegas Blvd).
