桌山位于南非西开普省开普敦附近，是一座顶部平坦的沙岩山。

桌山海拔1,086米，大约形成于志留纪或奥陶纪。由于其顶部异常平坦且可以俯看开普敦半岛，因此桌山成为了南非的一个著名的旅游景点。桌山有云覆盖，云层是刮东南风迅速形成的，它是高原植被繁茂的主要因素，5个高山水库贮藏的水就是由冬天西北风带来的雨水，山顶的年降雨量为1525毫米。

You can hike to the top of the Table Mountain or get there via a cable car.

Times are season dependent, please check the official website.
First car up: between 8 am - 8:30 am
Last car up: between 5 pm - 8:30 pm
Last car down: between 6 pm - 9 pm

Visitors can hike the mountain for free, book a tour guide or use the funicular.

One-way tickets for the funicular:
