The Beaux Arts bridge, which was built in the last few years of the 19th century, is one of the prettiest bridges in Paris. It was named after the Russian tsar who significantly strengthened the relationship between France and Russia.

The bridge is beautifully decorated with statues and various ornaments. Be sure to notice the nymphs, the cherubs but also the beautiful lamps. There are also four imposing statues depicting the Fames - the Fame of Arts, the Fame of Sciences, the Fame of Commerce and the Fame of Industry.

On one side of the bridge, you can see the National Residence of the Invalids and on the other the Grand Palais. The bridge starred in a number of films, for instance - Midnight in Paris.
