Located in front of the international airport, this building is a famous LA landmark and one of the first sights many get to see when coming to the city. It was finished in 1961 and to many people, it looks like a landed UFO. If you can come see it at night, do so because after dusk it is beautifully lit up.
The observation deck is open to the public on Sat and Sun from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
