This lovely statue, which was installed in 1959 and made by José de Creeft, depicts several characters from a classic children's book by Lewis Carroll - Alice in Wonderland. Apart from Alice herself, there is also the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat and also the Dormouse.
It is located in the Central Park Conservatory Water area and it is a popular spot especially for families with children. You can climb the statue any way you like and take funny pictures with it. However, during the day there are often many people wishing to take pictures with the statue so you might have to wait for a while.
