This spectacular hall at the heart of the Munich Residenz Museum is its oldest room. It was built in the second half of the 16th century at the orders of Duke Albrecht V, who wished to have a more representative room to display his magnificent collection of antique sculptures in. The antiquities it stored also gave the name to the entire room.

Antiquarium is a part of the Residenz Museum complex and has the following opening hours:

Apr - Oct 16:
Daily: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Last entry: 5 p.m.)

Oct 17 - Mar:
Daily: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Last entry: 4 p.m.)

Admission

The Residenz Museum admission gives you permission to enter the Antiquarium.

Adults: €7
Disabled, Seniors (65+): €6
Youth (0-17): free
